More running

It beats thinking about depression

I run to beat my depression or, failing that, to have a part of my week where I don't have to think about depression.

Thought I'd use the awsome power of my GPS to upload some of my runs here.

If all goes well, today's run will appear below:

Seems to load a bit slow. Sorry.

Sweet merciful crap, man, you live in Forrestfield? However do you cope?

You do realise that drinking gin instead of Wild Turkey is a lynching offense there, don't you?

Jogging? That stuff will kill you. To beat depression I eat, dance or watch MST3K.

Well, Forrestfield may be bogan central, but I'll take a 100% increase in home value in 4 years any day of the week.

Hopefully the increase in price is due to a decrease in the amount of bogans. Although in any economy, why there should be a demand for bogans, except as material for stand-up comedy, beats me.

The bogans are being driven out of Forrestfield by the gentrifying forces of people like the 2Bars, what with their non-instant coffee and their exercise and their complete lack of George Thorogood CDs. No doubt the bogans are fleeing to the Hills, there to wait and plot their revenge. I suspect that old Bundy bottles are being fashioned into molotov cocktails as we speak.

Unfortunately on 2Bars cassette list number 22 and 100 is George Thorogood and The Destroyers - Hello Little Girl and Boogie People respectively.

Oh my goodness I'm married to a bogan!

I don't know if it's worse that they are cassettes?
